1. Service and eligibility

The Terminal is a digital public-source news-intelligence service providing a live wire, event threads, an article archive and metered API access. Nothing physical is shipped. You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering this agreement. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, API keys and wallets.

2. Price, payment and fulfilment

Current endpoint prices, pass allowances, currencies and durations are shown immediately before purchase and at /api/v1/. Displayed prices may change prospectively; a completed prepaid pass keeps the allowance and duration quoted at purchase. Card transactions are presented in South African rand where indicated. The checkout page displays the total imposed by Monexus Terminal before confirmation; banks, card issuers, wallets and exchanges may impose separate conversion, network or service fees. Access is normally delivered electronically after confirmed payment.

3. Cancellation and refunds

If paid access is not delivered or materially fails as described, email michael.poncana@themonexus.com with the order reference, API request identifier where relevant, and payment method. We will investigate and, where confirmed, restore access, re-serve the response or refund the affected purchase. A prepaid pass may otherwise be cancelled within seven days for a pro-rata refund if aggregate use is below 5% of its included request allowance. Per-request data already delivered and substantially used is not refundable. Card refunds are returned through the original method where possible. Never email card numbers, private keys or seed phrases. Nothing here limits non-excludable statutory rights.

4. On-chain payments

x402 payments are settled in USDC on Solana mainnet. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible and publicly visible. You are responsible for using the supported network, token and generated payment instruction. Payments sent manually, on another network, with another asset or outside that instruction may not be recoverable.

Where a refund is approved, we return the applicable number of USDC units to the originating or otherwise verified wallet address. Network fees and third-party wallet or exchange charges may not be recoverable, and a change in USDC's fiat value does not change the number of USDC units refunded. A per-request purchase is delivered when the service successfully returns the purchased response. If payment is confirmed but no response is produced, send the request identifier and public transaction signature to the support address above.

5. Licence and acceptable use

Access is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right for internal use during the paid period. Search indexing and attributed quotation may be allowed under the published licence. Bulk redistribution, resale, model training, systematic scraping or a substitute feed requires express permission or the applicable paid licence. Do not evade controls, share keys publicly, overload the service, introduce malware or use it unlawfully.

6. Editorial and risk notice

Terminal output may be automated, delayed, incomplete, duplicated, mistranslated or based on a single public source. Market figures may use exchange-traded proxies rather than underlying indices or spot instruments; attribution is not endorsement. Nothing provided through the Terminal is investment, trading, legal, medical, safety or operational advice. Review our standards and verify time-sensitive or consequential claims against primary sources.

7. Availability and liability

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, trading loss or decisions made from source material. Aggregate liability for a paid claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected service in the preceding 30 days. This does not exclude liability applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

8. Suspension and changes

We may suspend access reasonably necessary for abuse, security risk, non-payment or legal obligations. We may update the service and these terms prospectively; the version at purchase governs that purchase. If a material change adversely affects an active prepaid service, contact us for an appropriate remedy.

9. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by South African law, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. Send complaints and legal notices to legal@themonexus.com or the published service address. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues.
